Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ClipFlare, the AI video-clipping and social-publishing service at clipflare.ai. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

ClipFlare lets you upload or link a video, automatically generates short clips with captions and subtitles, and — if you connect a social account — helps you publish those clips. Some features are metered in credits or offered through subscription plans.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password safe. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to use the service in your country.

3. Your content and rights

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant ClipFlare the limited permission needed to process that content (transcribe, clip, caption, dub) and, at your request, to publish it to the social accounts you connect. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload and to publish it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload or publish content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, or that violates the rules of the platform you publish to (including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube).
Do not use the service to spam, mislead, or abuse any platform's API.
Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

5. Third-party platforms

When you connect and publish to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, you also agree to those platforms' own terms and policies. ClipFlare acts on your instructions and is not responsible for a platform's decisions about your content or account.

ClipFlare uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can revoke ClipFlare's access at any time from ClipFlare's "My account" screen or from Google's security settings.

6. Credits, plans and payments

Paid credits and subscriptions are billed through our payment processor. Credits are consumed as you generate clips. Plan features and prices may change; changes apply going forward.

7. Availability & disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any particular result from AI-generated output.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipFlare is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content you choose to publish.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date shows the latest version.
